Tommaso Cuccioni (±1790 in Rome; August 23, 1864 Rome) was an Italian engraver and graphic artist, from 1852 also a photographer in Rome. He engraved and published several series of small format prints for the tourist market. Around 1820-1840, the Nuova Raccolta di Vedute Antiche et Moderne della Città di Roma with 100 copper engravings of Roman sights (size approx. 10 x 14 cm), and the Numero cento Vedute di Roma e sue vicinanze (17.5 x 23, 5cm). From the 1840s he switched to sales and from 1852 to the production of photographic images of Roman works of art and monuments. In 1862 he directed the London World’s Fair. After his death, the business passed to his brother Gioacchino and his widow Isabella, who also used photos by other photographers
