In this extensive ordinance the rules are laid down by the city of Leyden (Leiden) which servants must adhere to within the walls of the city of Leiden. The poster is printed on heavy paper and is 51 x 34 cm. In the past it has been folded, so there are also some small cracks on the edges.

In this extensive ordinance the rules are laid down by the city of Leyden (Leiden) to which servants in particular: coachmen, servants, maids, minors (nurses) and bakermoers (maternity assistants). But also workers and artisans have to keep within the walls of the city.
The ordinance is in Dutch, dated 8 March 1703 and signed by J. van Groenendyck. On the back of the ordonance the title is written again in pen / goose feather.
